Lafayette Archival Oral History Collection 1968-2001

In the mid-1970s, Effie Amicarella, along with Carolyn Connaroe, obtained a grant from the Colorado State Library to begin a series of taped interviews and record early recollections of Lafayette residents.
There are so many facets and stories in Lafayette to discover– The Library’s oral histories collected in the 70s, 80s, and 90s spoke to Lafayette’s mining history, agrarian history, history of commerce and more.
