"Red Cliff Trustees and volunteers installed town signs at the High Street and Water Street entrances to the town. The project was a year-long collaboration starting with the past Mayor and Board of Trustees and the Current Trustees and Mayor.

Mrs. James T. Blake with her granddaughters (Della Altenreid's children) in Red Cliff. James Blake was the town Marshall in the 1920s until 1938, when they moved to Canon City. The Blakes lived at the end of Water St. Mrs. Blake was active in the Neighbors of Woodcraft.

The Tobias and Marie Montoya house on Water St., Red Cliff, Colorado, in February 2008...a good snow year. Mr. Montoya worked for New Jersey Zinc Co. as a miner. Their son, Ramon, is the current mayor of Red Cliff [2010].

The two story building at left is the former U.S. Post Office on Water St. in Red Cliff. The trailr was also used as the Post office for a while. The new Post Office was opened in 1990.
