Mae Abrams Fleming soon after Fleming died. She is expensively dressed, wearing a flowered hat. Mae and Fleming went to Los Angeles and bought a gas station. Fleming died, leaving Mae quite wealthy.

Nora Steward Johnson was the wife of William S. Johnson. The couple had three children: Dorris, Jesse, and Ray Johnson.

Studio portrait of Cora B. Wise Mayer, 16 years old, standing with her left hand on a prop. Mother of Chester lloyd Mayer, long-time Eagle resident. She was born Cora Wise on February 17, 1870, in Neosho, Missouri. She married William Perry Mayer in 1886; died July 25, 1955. She is buried in the Eagle cemetery.

Jessie Fair, soon Chambers, stands to the right of the Chambers Ranch house. The Chambers Ranch once had a large dairy and delivered throughout the area. The house has a large front porch and is lined with trees in front. The Chambers Barn is now the Eagle County Historical Society Museum and once stood where the current Interstate 70 interchange is today.

Margaraette Walters Allen was born in Wales on December 13, 1844. She was married to Alexander Allen and the couple emigrated to the United States, eventually to Colorado. She died in Olive Springs, TN on January 25, 1937

Evelyn and Virginia Buchholz, daughters of Lee Buchholz, Eagle Colorado. They are standing outside, holding hands, dressed in evening attire. Lee was brother to John and Jim, Uncle of Nick. Nick's wife, Jeanette, became Superintendent of Schools for Eagle County during the 1940's and '50's.

Ida Oyler Herwick, wife of Josiah Herwick. She became a member of Pacific Circle, Women of Woodcraft, Circle No. 132 at Eagle, Colorado, on Dec. 16, 1898. She died at Grand Valley, Colorado (now Battlement Mesa, Colorado, on March 8, 1919. -- Carol Crawford McManus, from "Ida, her Labor of Love," 1999.
