"The Horn ranch house on Rock Creek, two and one half miles above McCoy, as it was in 1917. Homesteaders Alvin Hart and Rooks built the cabin with the fireplace, the rest was added on by the Horns. This is the original John Cowden family homestead cabin, which was moved about a half a mile from it's original site on Bellyache. Jack Oleson reconstructed the cabin on the Diamond S ranch. A tour of the ranch was conducted by the Eagle County Historical Society and the Diamond S Ranch on October 5, 2013.

Eagle County Historical Society volunteer and President, Kathy Heicher, stands in the refurbished Bellyache school. The school had deteriorated into a pile of logs when Jack Oleson decided to move the building back to its original location and reconstruct the building. A tour of the ranch was conducted by the Eagle County Historical Society and the Diamond S Ranch on October 5, 2013.
