The Burbank home in Red Cliff completely engulfed in flames. The fire took place during the evening of March 2, 1964. The building was a total loss and the occupants were left with the clothes on their back and a very few personal belongings.

One of the old homes in what was once named Poverty Flats, but now part of Bells Camp. The James Collins family lived here and Tom Collins was born here. The Collins family relocated to Red Cliff.
4) Town Park

The Tobias and Marie Montoya house on Water St., Red Cliff, Colorado, in February 2008...a good snow year. Mr. Montoya worked for New Jersey Zinc Co. as a miner. Their son, Ramon, is the current mayor of Red Cliff [2010].

Elaudia Velasquez standing at 446 Eagle St., Red Cliff. Elaudia lived in Truchas, New Mexico. She married Procopio Velasquez November 26, 1949. The couple moved to Colorado and Procopio worked for many years as a miner for New Jersey Zinc at Gilman. He passed away in 2005.
