3) Yeoman Camp

"Yeoman Camp at Salt Creek" (part of the Brush Creek drainage). Multiple log buildings, corrals and fencing are seen. Several miles further up East Brush Creek Rd. is the old mining town of Fulford. This photo was taken prior to the CCC camp built in the 1930s at Yeoman Park. The site has been a favored camping and fishing place since the settlement of Eagle.

4) Lyon Ranch

Photo postcard of the Judd Lyon Ranch in Yarmony Park, about 1940. Lyon homesteaded in 1909, his closest neighbor being John F. Hudson, two and a half miles to the northeast. McCoy was eight miles to the southwest and had the closest store and post office.

"An early day log dwelling a little similar to the Wohler house, but built by Tom Elliott on his Mother's homestead. Besides the Elliott family who lived here over twenty years, succeeding occupants were the Grays, Grohs, Grimes, Kaysers and Holts.
The dirt roof building on the extreme left was the original building and the rest were additions. The logs in this building and many other in the vicinity are as sound today as in the day they were cut...

11) Judd Lyon Ranch

"The buildings on the Lyon Hidden Valley Ranch are in a much better state of repair than any of the other deserted ranches in Yarmony Park, mainly due to the fact that it was occupied the longest. 12) McCoy Hotel

"The McCoy Hotel as it appeared when Charles H. 'Daddy' McCoy was operating it in 1904. The photo was taken looking south west. The east end of the building was the kitchen and dining room, the lobby, Post Office and the McCoys living quarters in the center while the west end was mostly guest rooms and a large hall for community gatherings, dances, etc. In later years the ground floor was converted into a store. 13) Buerger cabin

14) Elliott Place

The Tom Elliott place on Rock Creek. The ranch house is on the right with corrals and barn at left. The ranch is in Routt County, two miles north of McCoy. Irrigation was from the creek in order to grow supplementary feed for winter.s

17) Sneve Ranch

The William Johnson Ranch, formerly the Anthony Sneve Ranch on West Brush Creek. The patent on the ranch was established in 1911. The ranch was purchased by Edna Chambers in 1935. Chambers in turn sold the property to William S. and Nora Johnson in 1938. It is now the site for Sylvan Lake State Park. [A History of Sylvan Lake State Park, by Kathy Heicher]
