Gates and Kate first moved to the Doan place, they lived in the small house to the left until the big house was built. A son George Albert was born August 15, 1872, in Hebron, Neb. Their second known child, Clark Lemley, was born August 21, 1878, in Hebron. James P. and Catharine had at least 2 more boys and twin girls,...

"Madison Cassius Gates, born in 1852, like his older brothers Albert and James P., also had a desire for adventure. He migrated [from Ohio] westward to Hebron, Nebraska, around 1881, and later moved to California.

20) Muriel Colburn

Muriel Colburn and her mother, Alice George Colburn. "Muriel worked in Washington, D.C., and was employed for many years by the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder's Office and the Social Security Office in Denver. She retired in 1971." [obituary] SHe passed away at 95, on Dec. 14, 1997.
