North School was build in the summer of 1903 after Englewood's incorporation. It was built on the northeast comer of S. Cherokee and West Cornell. There were 35 pupils when it opened. A small addition was built in the back in 1904. In 1905 the west half of the building was built. A brick building was built at 3000 S Bannock in 1905, North Englewood Elementary School.
