W. Belleview is in foreground. Mr. Whitaker's house is the white spot to the right of the sign. Scott Altenbach is standing next to the sign. The row of cottonwoods in the center were next to Whitaker's irrigation ditch. The water for the ditch came from a dam on Little Dry Creek near Burt Chevrolet on S. Broadway.

Brookridge Dairy maintained a milking parlor in the 40's and 50's. This location is now the Brookridge Shopping Center on the S.E. corner of Broadway and Belleview.
