Photo postcard from "Louise" to Mrs. S. S. Wooldridge, 226 1st St., Salida, Colo.", mailed from Edwards, Colo., in 1913. There are four men and a boy standing in a fenced area. Luggage is piled at the right, an automobile is behind the fence. Possibly the depot area at Edwards.

Barbara Clark, Eagle County teacher, with Daisy, the horse, at the Bar-Gay Ranch near Edwards, Colorado (at the mouth of Squaw Creek). Ring, the dog (previously owned by Tom Pearch), is standing next to Mrs. Clark.
The Bar-Gay Ranch was originally the Hawley place. Gaylord and Barbara Clark bought the house and outbuildings; the land was a school section which they leased for 99 years.

13) Margurite Hawley

A school photo of Margurite Hawley from Edwards, Colorado.
Jerome C. and Luella Smith Hawley were among the earlier settlers of Eagle County, ranching at the mouth of Squaw Creek around 1900. Upon retiring, they left the ranch to their son, Ezra J. Hawley. Margurite, Ezra's daughter, became a teacher for the Southern California Bible College in Pasadena, California.
