Studio portrait of Josephine and John Forest taken in 1912. They lived in Red Cliff and Gilman until Mr. Forest retired from mining. They were then owners of the Forest Hotel in Eagle, Colorado, from 1918 into the 1930s.

Pearl worked in the Henderson store and at the Red Cliff Museum. She was a member of the Eagle County Historical Society and Neighbors of Woodcraft.
Ralph Henderson owned Henderson's Variety Store in Red Cliff and sold cars in Red Cliff for Burt Chevrolet, Denver. Ralph also owned the bus line to Gilman, which took workers back and forth to the mine....
