Burns Stockyards, October 1939, showing cattle in loading pens going up the ramp to rail cars on shipping day. Steam engine at left background. Four horses in foreground with dog. The yards were built in exchange for the right of way needed by the railroad to go through the Benton Land & Livestock Company property.
