The synthesis of M(CO)4{(C6H5)P(C2H4)2P(C6H5)}, M=Cr, Mo, W metal complexes will be reported. The reaction progress, which appears to proceed through a dimer intermediate, will also be discussed. The compounds were analyzed by 31P{1H} NMR, and the X-Ray structure of Mo(CO)4{(C6H5)P(C2H4)2P(C6H5)} will be reported.
