The Tobias and Marie Montoya house on Water St., Red Cliff, Colorado, in February 2008...a good snow year. Mr. Montoya worked for New Jersey Zinc Co. as a miner. Their son, Ramon, is the current mayor of Red Cliff [2010].

The two story building at left is the former U.S. Post Office on Water St. in Red Cliff. The trailr was also used as the Post office for a while. The new Post Office was opened in 1990.

Ivan Lon "Ike" Dump with wife, Joy Marfitano Dump (Boltjes) standing next to the wood shed off the kitchen of their house, shortly before Ike left for WW II. Children, Ernie Dump Dumph and Betty Mae Dump (Elsberry) are standing in front of them.
The house belonged to the John and Alton Paddock family. The Paddock's permitted Joy and her children to house-sit rent free while Ike was overseas.
