The Schlutter Place (previously Frost Place) on Brush Creek, purchased by Fred and Helen Dice in spring 1950. The farmhouse had been remodeled. Sign reads, "Pair O Dice Mesa, Fred Dice, Joe Dice."

14) Harriet C. Smith

Marker for: "Harriet C. wife of J. S. Smith, Died Sep. 5, 1899, Aged 57 Years," in Fairview Cemetery. A star between open gates is engraved at the top of the stone [passage from one realm to the next].
15) Ella May Martin

Marker for: "Ella May, at rest, daughter of Henry & Sarah Martin, died Oct. 2, 1898, aged 5 yrs. 6 ms. 11 ds.," Greenwood Cemetery. A scene with an open gate, flying dove and rainbow is engraved at the middle of the marker.
16) Diamond S gate

A photo of the front gate for the Diamond S Ranch showing the ranch brand. The ranch east of Eagle was homesteaded by Nicholas Buchholz in 1890. Jesse Sherman, Clyde Lloyd and Wayne T. Jones were subsequent owners.
A tour of the ranch was conducted by the Eagle County Historical Society and the Diamond S Ranch on October 5, 2013.
