Mac (Alexander Jr.) and Margaret Macdonell with baby Dan in Eagle. Dan was the first grandchild of Alec and Sadie Macdonell. Margaret worked for Holy Cross Electric Association for 18 years at their Eagle office. She also collected bills for Rocky Mountain Natural Gas from 1971 to 1981. She collected payments, posted deposits and meter readings, filled out work orders, took calls and cleaned the office.

"Ed Schrupp,his wife, Philomene and their six children came from Golden where he had been employed by Coors Brewery. He had filed on a homestead on the extreme south end of Conger Mesa.... Mr. Schrupp built a cabin on his own homestead but it wasn't occupied until 1905. The Schrupp children...

Charles B. "Charley" McCoy (son of Charles H. McCoy, founder of McCoy, Colorado) seated with his family. Wife, Stella Hatch (married in 1900) has one arm on Charley's shoulder and one hand on daughter Mildred (born in 1913). Daughter Ethel (born in 1902) is seated at far left. Mrs. James T. Blake with her granddaughters (Della Altenreid's children) in Red Cliff. James Blake was the town Marshall in the 1920s until 1938, when they moved to Canon City. The Blakes lived at the end of Water St. Mrs. Blake was active in the Neighbors of Woodcraft.
