Bensons had a saw mill at Pando but after they moved their logging operation up Shrine Pass, they hauled their logs to Smith's Lumber Co. in Leadville. Logging in that area was done at Shrine Pass, Tates Gulch, WIllow Creek, Lime Creek and Wearyman.
