"The main part of this ranch house on the Black Mountain Ranch was built by Anton "Tony" Johannbroer in 1910, and the addition on the right by John Ambos in 1928. Tony and his wife Rebecca only occupied it a few weeks, the Butler family eight years, Amboses twenty, then the Atwoods for several years.
