This stereoscopic view of Red Cliff, Colorado (facing southeast) was taken by William Henry Jackson some time in the late 1800s. It's likely this image is from before 1883, since the caption states that the image is of Red Cliff, Summit County, Colorado. Red Cliff was a part of Summit County for a few years before 1883. In 1883, Eagle County was formed and Red Cliff became the county seat.

Joy Marfitano (Dump Boltjes) on Senior Sneak Day 1938. She is standing at the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun in Colorado Springs. Spencer Penrose built the shrine between 1934 and 1937, dedicating it to Will Rogers who died in a plane crash in 1935. The elevation on the top deck in 8,136 ft. The shrine is now part of Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Tom and Ella Lewis, standing in front of a house. Thomas "...was born in Broadtop, Pa., Oct. 12, 1872 and came to Boulder, Colorado as a young man. For a time he managed a store at Erie before coming to Western Colorado and entered the mercantile business at Palisade with the J. W. Hugus Co. There he met Miss Ella Rose Berger, a clerk at the old Fair Store in Grand Junction. The couple was married March 3, 1907 and eight years later came to Eagle."...

Several unidentified individuals pose for a photograph in front of a building at Pando. Taken in August of 1912. It's possible that these individuals were employees of Benson's Sawmill, located at Pando. This is supported by the large saw blade visible to the right of the door. A dog is pictured on the right next to a gentleman holding a large jug. This photograph was developed by Schedin Studio in Leadville.
