The Whittaker ski area on the Whittaker Place at Bruce Creek in the late 1940s. The man standing with his back to the camera on the left is Wayne Randall. Next to him are his cousins, Roxie "Mickie" Randall (sitting down) and Jo Ann Whittaker (standing and laughing). The girl with the scarf on her head at midground is Donna Randall.

Agatha and Oscar Carlson, old time friends of the Dices, visiting from Denver. Fishing on Brush Creek was a favorite activity. They are standing on the porch of the cabin behind the Schlutter Place. Oscar is resting his right arm on Agatha's left shoulder while his left hand is propped on a broom handle.

A journal written by Alfred Borah. Borah was an early settler to the Brush Creek Valley. He was a rancher and would sometimes lead hunting and fishing parties with his brother, Jake Borah. The years covered in this journal are from September 1886 to August 1889. Some events covered in this journal include Borah breaking his leg in a wagon accident on the way to Red Cliff on November 9, 1886, and Borah's marriage to Mary Grant on April 16, 1889.
