The Great K & A Train Robbery was filmed in Glenwood Canyon in 1926. Tom Mix, the star, did his own stunts, including some on a moving train, that thrilled those watching.

Trees obstruct a view of the Hotel and several buildings in back of it that haver never shown in any of the many photographs of McCoy. The little building in the foreground has served as living quarters for a number of people in past years, but is presently the McCoy Post Office. Agatha and Oscar Carlson, old time friends of the Dices, visiting from Denver. Fishing on Brush Creek was a favorite activity. They are standing on the porch of the cabin behind the Schlutter Place. Oscar is resting his right arm on Agatha's left shoulder while his left hand is propped on a broom handle.

The participants in the Easter Monday Ball 1910 at Monarch, Colorado. The young lady in the center is Dessie Tomlin. To her immediate right are her parents, Maggie and A.Q. Tomlin. Dessie married Ira Earl Beck and moved to Red Cliff in 1921. They had six sons, T.R. (Bud), Buster, Quinn, Bruce, Jack and Russell.
This photograph was damaged when the roof and second floor of the Beck house burned in about 1929. A photo of that fire is: 2012.016.001....
