The dedication was held at noon on Sunday, August 3, 1941. Governor Ralph L. Carr and other officials attended. The bridge and six miles of new highway built over Battle Mountain cost a total of $636,405. The bridge is 470 ft. long, 209 ft. high; the roadbed is 30 ft. wide and has two 18-inch curbs.
