Winne, who preached (1899-1900) but was not an ordained minister, arranged for a five hundred dollar loan from the Denver Missionary Society. With this money and donated labor, the one-room church was completed in July 1900; the parsonage was built in 1902.

Methodist Church, Eagle, Colorado, built in 1900. An enlargement program was started in 1940 by Rev. Casselman. A fellowship hall and office were built on the ground level and Sunday School rooms were on the second level. A furnace was installed in the basement. Parsonage is barely visible in the left background. [Compare with 1982.001.088, view from 1902]
Between 1951 and 1954m the Sunday School rooms were completed.
