The view is to the South from Hampden. The Tin Shop on the left is at 3524 S. Broadway. This building still stands and is the Army Surplus Store. This is also the location of the Tramway loop for car line #3. Englewood Drug Co. across the street is located at 3531 S. Broadway.

In 1935 the store was owned by J. F. (Mabel) Stirratt. By 1939 the store was called Greenstreet's Grocery, owned by W. B. (Vella) Greenstreet. It was located on Broadway at Bates. Note the bench between the trees which was used for the bus stop.
